I’m back in Aspen, and, while it was bittersweet to leave my family and dear friends after such a short, unexpected stint, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be in the Colorado mountains again. The landscape turned GOLD in the week that I was away.
I’m not alone. Messaged a party pal and recent mountain transplant who returned to her native state of Missouri for a long weekend:
“I just landed in KC and I miss Aspen already!”
This place seems to have that effect on people. It’s good to be here, it feels like home.
